Foundation for Morristown Medical Center

As the philanthropic arm of Morristown Medical Center and Goryeb Children’s Hospital, the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center inspires community philanthropy to advance exceptional health care. They came to us with a look that was inconsistent and outdated, and missing the warmth and energy their team brings. The goal was two-fold: communicate more effectively with their donor community, and connect with emerging demographics. Beginning with a brand audit, we developed a cohesive, impactful and current visual identity, full of strength and purpose. As their ongoing brand partner, we design campaigns and annual publications and strategize donor stewardship and engagement.

In every touchpoint of the brand, we aim to strike an emotional chord with donors and patient families through engaging design, while capturing the standard of excellence that the medical center is known for. With that goal in mind, we transformed the foundation’s annual Impact Report from a simple collection of data to a fully designed experience. Through a printed booklet and a responsive website, the report shows the impact of donor giving and inspires continued support.

For their annual publication, Foundation Journal, we designed a fresh and approachable new look that reflects the inspiring donor stories on every page. The layouts bring to life the care and impact made possible through generosity — all while keeping the medical center’s status as an industry leader in clear focus.

The updated visual identity extends to a standardized and flexible suite of materials. With templates that can easily be updated in-house, we’ve also equipped the foundation team to maintain the same warm and elevated look across all collateral.
